We came upon these beautiful clumps of Mistletoe growing on a Hawthorn tree in Bushy Park yesterday. It reminded me of the colour pencil painting I did in 2007. It was selected to be on the front cover of the christmas edition of Talking Point, the UKCPS magazine.
I am lucky enough to live near Bushy Park, a royal deer park, 12 miles from central London. The deer roam freely and they crop the lower branches of all the trees to about 5 or 6 feet, giving the park a very neat and manicured look.
